“Tips to improve our Spanish and our children using apps and online resources” – Mundo Hispánico

The article written by Laura Carbonell exhibits some apps and resources that can be used to support our children in the study of Spanish. The app that joined us in his comments was “Ortografía Paso a Paso”, her review here:

Ortografia paso a paso: How to accentuate words through interactive games. Perhaps most difficult to remember and learn. This application makes it even fun.”

“5 apps to practice reading in spanish” – El Hispano News

From “El Hispano News” by Jennifer Brunk

“The following applications are suitable for beginning readers and most use Spanish in the context of complete sentences. They have high-quality audio and interesting content, and are suitable for a wide range of ages.

  1. Lee Paso a Paso – Learn to Read Spanish Step by Step by BQWare
This application focuses on the sounds of syllables and how they combine to form words. All words are supported by pictures, so children also acquire vocabulary. Children do not listen to the words in complete sentences, but that is not the focus of the application. It is a game of very effective activities for children learning to read in Spanish.”

“5 Apps for Reading in Spanish” –

Finding quality Spanish language applications for the iPad and iPhone can be a challenge. This is partly because the iTunes store is not particularly easy to search, and also because many language learning apps focus strictly on vocabulary in isolation. Reading in Spanish depends on language in context, so apps that support beginning readers are especially difficult to find.

The following apps for reading in Spanish are appropriate for language learners and most use Spanish in the context of full sentences. They have high quality audio, engaging content and are suitable for a wide range of ages. I have included apps at a variety of levels.
